Review: Tonymoly Cats Wink Shiny Skin BB Cream (Sponsored)

Hi everyone! I hope all of you had a merry Christmas! Are you as excited for New Year as I am? I hope so! <3 Today, I finally got around to write a review of a BB cream that I started liking a lot recently.

I am talking about the Tonymoly Cats Wink Shiny Skin BB Cream that Beautynetkorea sent me for reviewing purposes. :) Sadly, the product is no longer available on their website since before Christmas. :( It looks like I was lucky enough to get one of the last ones.

Beautynetkorea is an online retail store that specializes on Korean cosmetics and beauty products. Their service is great and they always have really good offers. It would mean a lot to me if you could check them out! <3

Packaging:
So, I've known Tonymoly mainly for their cute packaging and this BB cream is by far not an exception! The cream comes in a pink tube with a cat face on the front. :) So cute.

English ingredients list!

Not the best possible way to dispense a product but it is okay. :)

Swatches:

Bear in mind that this BB cream only comes in one shade!

Even on my hand, the BB cream looks really dewy. :)

My bare face so you can see how much coverage the BB cream provides.

Coverage:
I would say that this BB cream provides solid medium coverage. Consistency-wise it is a lot more fluid than my Lioele Triple The Solution, but the coverage is finde nevertheless. I actually like it much better for everyday wear as it is very easy and quick to apply. Plus, it doesn't feel heavy at all.

Finish:
This BB cream gives your skin a very dewy finish so if you prefer a matte finish this is definitely not the right BB cream for you!

Scent:
I have to say, this is the major turn-off about this BB cream as the scent is not really that pleasant. It doesn't last until after I finished applying it, however, so it is bearable.

Stickyness:
It definitely is on the more sticky end of BB creams but it also moisturizes really well.

Breakouts:
No. :) My skin reacted really well to this BB cream and I have not noticed any breakouts whatsoever so far.

Whitening / Wrinkle Care:
I would say it slightly reduces redness, but that is about it. My skin is really fair without BB cream and I really have not noticed any changes. As for wrinkles, I can't really say anything about that.

Pro's
Dewy Finish
Moisturizing
Good Coverage

Con's
Scent
A little sticky
Only comes in one shade

Repurchase? I would, but I doubt it is still in production.

Where to buy? You can still find it at various eBay stores for around 14USD.

The Christmas Cracker Tag

Hello everyone!

It's the 23rd and I just helped my mother to decorate our Christmas tree. :) Everything is getting a little more festive and I love it. It's actually the first time in two years we have a proper tree again so it kind of something special again.

So, I actually planned to do a review today but since I ran out of time halfway through, I decided to do the Christmas Cracker Tag instead. :) The lovely Claudie from simplyclaudie has tagged me and I am really looking forward to answering the questions now.

One: What's on your Christmas list?

Oooh I think I will have to disappoint you, because there is nothing really special on my Christmas list this year. :( I wished for loads of clothing from YesStyle, some pairs of shoes from H&M and candles. Maybe, there was more on my list but I tend to forget about most of the things I put on my list and I end up really surprised about what I get. :,D

Two: What's on your Christmas Day agenda?
Since my parents are divorced, my Christmas day agenda differs hugely depending on whose house I'm staying at on the 24th. Usually, I go to whoever has claimed me for the day, we eat and sit together with the respective family.

Three: How much Christmas shopping have you done?
If I compare it to last year, I have done a lot actually. I can't really tell you about anything in detail, however, because some people who still have not received their presents might read this and I don't want to give away anything :3

Four: What's been your biggest ever surprise gift?
When I was veeeery young, my parents got me Pokémon Yellow plus a Gameboy. :) I absolutely loved it. It was probably the best surprise gift ever. Last year my dad got me a Kindle as a surprise gift but I exchanged it for an Amazon voucher because I really prefer normal books. :S I'm just really not a fan of e-books haha.

Five: When do you usually put up your Christmas tree?
On the 23rd of December. :)

Six: Do you have a special outfit planned for Christmas Day?
Honestly? No. I usually just go with whatever I find in my closet that fits together. I'm not a really festive person so I will probably end up wearing some skirt with some blouse like every year.

Seven: Do you have any plans for Boxing Day?
That's the 25th, right? I probably won't do anything special that day. Usually, I celebrate with the other part of my family, but this year, that has been scheduled for the 26th. :)

Eight: When did you stop believing in Father Christmas?
I can't remember but I know that I did not believe in him for very long. I quickly figured out that my parents were the ones getting my presents. ;)

Nine: What's your favorite Christmas scent? (Candle/Perfume)
I looove anything with apple and cinnamon. <3~

Ten: What do you love most about Christmas?
The festive decorations they hang up in town! It's definitely the best thing. :) Everything looks so nice and polished and the lights are really pretty.

Aaand that's it for the tag! Feel free to do it if you feel like it but I will not tag anyone in particular. <3

I wish everyone of you a Merry Christmas! I hope you have a nice time celebrating :)

Review: Innisfree Color Glow Glossy Lipstick in #2, #4 and #6 (Sponsored)

Hi everyone! Are you doing fine? I hope so because I certainly am! I have done a lot of Christmas shopping and preparations lately so I have been kind of busy even though school has ceased to be stressful for this year. I would love to show you what I got for my boyfriend and for my family but I am afraid that they might stumble upon this blog and I really don't want to ruin the surprise for them. :(

As you probably all have noticed already, I am really into lip products at the moment! <3 I was really glad when Beautynetkorea decided to sponsor me with these beautiful Innisfree Lipsticks.

Beautynetkorea is an online retail store that specializes on Korean cosmetics and beauty products. Their service is great and they always have really good offers. It would mean a lot to me if you could check them out! <3

So, Innisfree released a range of highly pigmented and highly moisturizing lipsticks of which I will review #2, #4 and #6 today. Three totally different shades that I am very excited to share with you!

Packaging
I am always raving about this in my Innisfree reviews, but I love it how they sell their products in recycled paper boxes and how they use soy ink to print! It is so much more environmentally conscious than plastic boxes.

The design of the lipsticks is rather minimal but I still like it! It looks very modern and the fact that they added a indicator on the bottom of the tubes that shows which colour it contains really make this lipstick special for me! The tubes also have a matte finish. They don't feel cheap at all and they are really comfortable to use.

Swatches:

With flash

Sunlight

Bare lips for comparison

This colour reminds me a little of the MAC Creme Cup which I also own. :) It's a subtle pink, very suitable for daytime.

A strong red colour! Probably the most longlasting lipstick out of the three I am presenting you. My favourite red lipstick so far as well. :)

A gorgeous berry colour that makes your lips pop! It is not too flashy so it can be worn during daytime.

Pigmentation:
Very high! What you can see on my swatches is one layer of lipstick. :)

Lasting Power:
All three of them have a decent lasting power, however, #2 and #6 need to be refreshed more frequently than #4. I would say every 3-4 hours if you eat and drink a lot. For #4, 6 hours should suffice.

Moisture:
Innisfree advertised this range of lipsticks to be very moisturizing as it contains camellia oil and I found that this was actually true! Especially in winter, my lips dry out a lot and these three beauties kept my lips moisturized for 3 hours minimum.

Finish:
As you can tell from the pictures, the lipsticks all have a very shiny finish.

Pro's
Longlasting
Moisturizing
Eco-Friendly Packaging
Great Pigmentation

Con's
None

Where to buy? Beautynetkorea for 12.40$
Repurchase? I might try some different colours of this lipstick in the future!

What do you prefer to wear on your lips in winter? Strong colours or nudes?

Review: Tonymoly Cat Chu Wink Tony Tint (Sponsored)

Hello everyone! Today I wrote the last exam of 2013, which makes today the first day on which I can finally relax a little bit. Well, it would be an understatement that life is less stressful now that Christmas is coming up and that I need to prepare stuff for my final exams. ;^;
However, over the last couple of days I did find some time to shoot some pictures and review the Tonymoly Cat Chu Wink Lip tint! This is my first sponsored review out ot many by my lovely sponsor Beautynetkorea who made this possible for me. :) I am so grateful for this opportunity.

So, as you may have noticed, I am getting really into all kinds of lip products and especially lip tints lately. Today, I will review #1"Cherry Pink" and #2 "Red" for you! I probably will review #3 Orange Chacha at a later point in time as I really want to try it out as well so stay tuned!

Packaging:
So as you can see, it is barely possible to see what tint you are using when looking at the packaging. Both tints look really similar when bottled up. #1 does look slightly lighter, though. The sample I got from Beautynetkorea was from #1 too so I have even more of this tint. <3

Okay so the cat heads on the applicators only gave me one more reason for wanting this tint! They are so cute. :D

I have to say that the packaging seems really solid, the tube is made out of hard plastic and seems really sturdy. The cap closes really firmly so there is no need to worry that it will come off. :) The tint seems really handy and can be stored in any side pocket or make-up bag without any difficulties so you can take it with you wherever you want for touch-ups.

Swatches:

My bare lips for reference

This is probably my favourite tint out of these two. :) The colour is lovely whether you use one layer or two. As you can see, the tint is also very buildable, but I would not recommend applying more than two layers as it gets really opaque and flashy after that. It also washed me out slightly so be careful! :)

When I first put on this tint, I made the mistake to cover all of my lips with a rather thick layer of it so I was not really impressed when it started bleeding out at the ends, but when you apply it like it is supposed to be applied, it looks really nice. :) It is a rather bright red that does come off where opaque.

(Also, I should smile more often when I take these pictures, the tints look much better than haha OTL)

Lasting power:
I was positively surprised when I put on these tints for the first time! After six hours (including eating and drinking) they were still visible on my lips. I would recommend touching them up after about 5-6 hours, however, if you want to maintain the very bright look they give.
+ They don't stain once dried in! I did not expect that since Etude House's Rosy Lip tints usually stain. :(

Moisture:
It's okay. I mean, you will still need a lip balm once in a while but they certainly don't dry out my lips too much. I usually apply lip balm before the tint too, that makes my lips even more moisturized and the tint easier to apply.

Texture & Finish:
Once dried, the finish does become rather matte so if you want glossy lips you will need to apply lip gloss afterwards. :)

Smell / Taste:
I usually forget this section when I review lip products as I tend not to notice most of the scents or tastes, but this time, it was kind of a put-off for me. The tint does have a rather artificial flavour I can't really classify. It is not that pleasant but it vanishes rather quickly.

Pro's
True to colour
Lasts very long
Doesn't dry out my lips
Super cute packaging

Con's
Flavour
Scent

Repurchase? Definitely. :) I will try out the orange version of this!

Where to buy? Beatuynetkorea, 5,22$

Beatuynetkorea adds a sample of one Tonymoly Cat Chu Wink lip tints to every order until the 25th of December! If you want to try it out, now would be the best choice. :)

Many people have already raved about this product, which made me even more excited about it. :) What are your thoughts?

- Elina

P.S.: Despite the fact that this is a sponsored review, I am still giving my own, honest opinion on these product which cannot be changed in any way by the sponsor. :)
